Release: Import Opportunities from SF and Improved SF Field Mapping

The next release of our PRM software is going live tomorrow Friday, August 22nd between 5 am and 7 am EDT and contains a number of improvements around our integration with Salesforce CRM. Here are the key improvements:

Import Opportunities from Salesforce as Leads

Opportunity records in Salesforce can now be pulled into Channeltivity to create Leads for distribution to your Partners. This complements the existing Salesforce Lead import functionality, which allows you to easily create Leads in Channeltivity by importing Leads and Opportunities from Salesforce. Leads created this way can be distributed to your Partners and are kept in sync with the originating Salesforce record so you can see the Lead’s Channeltivity status within Salesforce.

Improved Salesforce Integration Controls

The Salesforce setup and field mapping interface has been completely redesigned and gives more control over the flow of data between Channeltivity and Salesforce CRM. The new visual mapping interface allows you to specify exactly which field maps to which destination. The setup instructions for the Lead DistributionDeal Registration and Partner Sync integration provide more detail.

Partner Agreement Formatting

The Partner Agreement template editor now supports basic styling like bold, underline, italic, bulleted lists etc. Improve the layouts and readability of your contracts by adding formatting.

Other Improvements

  • Add and edit Organization logo and User profile picture files via API.
  • The MDF Partner Report now includes current MDF balance and other useful data.
  • Many small improvements and bugfixes

As always, there’s nothing that’s needed from you – all customers will be automatically upgraded.
