Jason Jacobs, CEO
Jason Jacobs is a serial entrepreneur, visionary leader and seasoned high growth startup CEO specializing in launching technology and technology enabled services companies.
Founder and President of The Verge Group, a consultancy that Identifies Potential and Accelerates Results in early stage companies, Jason focuses on Emergent Strategy and Agile Organization Practices for high growth and restarting growth. Jason has assembled a team of some of the best business minds in the world in areas of Strategy, Top Management Team Dynamics, Organizational Performance, Organization Network Analysis, Information Technology and Seed/Venture Finance.
Jason founded his first startup CORESense in 2001. Under his leadership CORESense became the leading Software as a Service solution for Multi-Channel retail and he was named Deloitte Rising Star in 2005.
Jason has an MBA from the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, he holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and served as an officer in the US Navy. Zach Smith, Co-founder - CTO
Zach Smith brings over a decade of web technology and IT consulting expertise to Channeltivity. Zach's main responsibility is designing and directing development on the company's hosted platform to facilitate easier channel management. Zach and his web development team work closely with Channeltivity's customers to make sure each system meets specific partner program needs.
As a successful entrepreneur, Zach is also the founder and managing partner of Analog Method, a New York-based provider of custom web solutions for companies spanning corporate and consumer industries, including entertainment, fashion, healthcare, non-profit, professional services, retail and software.
In his *limited* spare time, Zach teaches entrepreneurship to underserved communities through WIBO, serves on the Accelerator board of his local Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), and volunteers for Breakthrough, a global human rights organization, providing strategy, marketing and technology assistance to their web team.
Bill Brandt, Co-founder
Bill Brandt is an award winning entrepreneur and business consultant with over 17 years experience in sales, marketing, and channel management for technology manufacturers, solution providers and resellers. Bill is a co-founder of Channeltivity and managing partner at SWOT Management Group, a global consulting firm that provides technology sales and channel development solutions to top tier vendors.
Prior to founding SWOTmg, Bill was at Sun Microsystems, where he created and implemented strategies designed to drive revenue growth through a variety of sales and channel initiatives. He joined Sun from Vanstar Corp., after helping that company grow from a regional PC distributor into a multi-billion-dollar solution integration powerhouse. Bill has held key business development and sales management positions at other leading technology consulting firms, and he was also the founder of Total Network Solutions, LLC, a regional systems integrator.
